Minetta Lane

MINETTA LANE
Tommy Page / L. Russell Brown

In the middle of the village on a cold winter night
The only street around with no one in sight
I kissed you on your face
a tear drop came
there on Minetta Lane

I remember it like it was only yesterday
It's so strange how time slips away
Been so long since we felt the flame
There on Minetta Lane

Whatever happened to love sweet love
did it fade away and die?
My heart still cries for you, longs for you
this song's for you
Wherever you are tonight

Whatever happened to love sweet love
did it fade away and die?
My heart still cries for you, longs for you
this song's for you
Wherever you are tonight

In the middle of the village on a cold winter night
Only street around, no one in sight
I'll never walk that street
cause it's not the same
without you on Minetta Lane

What did you imagine when you heard this song..?
When I first heard this, I just fallen in love to this song.
All swing out in my mind. What the Minetta Lane could be like.

A snow fall, during winter. Come into a river with one beautiful bridge curving in top of it..
People walking around in cold, but it was lovely. Tree without leaves, alone and bright.
This what I thought and always picturing my mind when hear this song.

But today I just find out the Minetta Lane. And absolutely washout all pictures before.
But it is more beautiful.
And I sing the song once again..
